Electronics technicians and serious hobbyists, this Metcal STTC-136 soldering cartridge is exactly what you need for precision work!

The 30-degree chisel tip with 2.5mm size is perfect for general soldering applications - it transfers heat efficiently and gives you good visibility of your work.

This is part of the 700-series, which means it runs at about 390°C (775°F max), making it ideal for most standard soldering tasks with both leaded and lead-free solder.

The SmartHeat technology is what makes Metcal stand out - it automatically adjusts power based on the thermal demand, so you get consistent performance without temperature fluctuations.

I use this with my MX-500 station, and the compatibility is perfect - just slides right in and locks securely.

The build quality is typical Metcal excellence - the plating is durable and resists oxidation well, so it lasts much longer than generic tips.

The chisel shape is versatile enough for everything from through-hole components to larger solder joints.

After months of regular use, the tip still looks great and performs like new with proper maintenance.

Whether you're doing board rework, prototyping, or production work, this cartridge delivers reliable, professional results.

The price is reasonable for genuine Metcal quality, and it's become my most-used tip in the workshop.

If you want consistent, high-quality soldering performance, this STTC-136 cartridge is definitely worth the investment - it makes every soldering job so much smoother and more precise.
